Cerys will be presenting and performing at the BBC Proms this year. She'll be joined by a few musicians selected for the WOMEX 13 Opening Concert at BBC Late Night Prom at the Albert Hall on 12 August. Prom goers will get a flavor of Wales’s music when Gwenan Gibbard, Patrick Rimes, Mason Neely, Frank Moon and Andy Coughlan join Cerys to get the Hall jigging to the groove and introduce Proms audiences to some old Welsh tunes. The performance will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 6 Music.
